The Step By Step Ultimate Pamper Guide

When was the last time you actually pampered yourself? The type of pampering that goes on for hours, where you get to truly indulge your mind, body and soul? I bet your answer is most likely a while ago, and my answer was the same before I treated myself to the ultimate pamper practice on a Sunday afternoon, with the help of some gorgeous natural skincare products that I was gifted from Harvest Garden Skincare. Here is my step by step pamper guide for you to follow and treat yourself to, because you deserve it darling!

First of all, you want to set the mood. Make sure no one will disturb you, including your mobile phone. Light candles, get some essential oils burning, such as Lavender or Ylang Ylang and put on some relaxing music to calm your mind; as we get so frantic and stressed from our modern lifestyles.

Begin by taking a shower. You may wish to have a hot bath, which is totally okay, but because I will be using a detoxifying body scrub, it gets a bit messy and much easier to do it in the shower. Wash your body and then use a body scrub. I used the Coconut Body Polish. I have literally fallen in love with the way it made my skin feel. Some of the ingredients it contains are Epsom Salt, Sea Salt, Coconut oil, Rose petals, Rose hip exfoliant, Australian pink clay plus many more. These natural ingredients contain vitamins, minerals and antioxidants to flush out toxins and remove dead skin cells off. I felt like a goddess at a spa, with all the scents that were spreading around my bathroom.

After showering, your body will need to be moisturized top to bottom. Start with your face, and really massaging the products in. I am so good with my facial routine, but I forget about my poor legs, arms and other body parts frequently. My skin is prone to dryness, so it needs a good moisturizer more than ever. On my body I used the Hard Lotion Bar. This is a bit different to normal body lotions, but because it is so pure in it’s ingredients, it is solid. Once you slowly massage it several times over your skin, it will adjust to your body temperature and slowly soften. It contains Shea butter, Coconut oil, Beeswax, Vitamin E, Organic Rose petals, Organic calendula petals plus many more. I really took my time to just truly indulge and treat my skin to some well deserved nourishment.

Finish off your pampering with some well deserved “you” time. Put on your favorite tracksuit and slippers, and get out your journal. Before journaling, you may like to either do a 10 minute meditation, or a three card angel reading. I prefer to do angel card readings, as I like to receive guidance.  Now you can write down thoughts and messages in your journal, as well reflections and goals. You may also have positive thoughts beaming out of your mind, which you can share in your journal. These are great to look back on a few days, or weeks after, especially if your feeling down or lost.

For the rest of the day, spend time doing the simple things you love doing. Whether that’s reading a book, going on a walk, binge watching your favorite TV show or spending time with your loved ones. You truly and utterly deserve all the pampering you can get, because you are hard working and amazing. May you forever feel like a goddess!
